Individual workflows are defined with a Workflow Configuration form. By filling out additional Workflow Configuration forms, you'll automatically create new workflows. You can have as many as you like, or is practical for your users, in a single database.
Each workflow is associated with a form or subform. Usually, different workflows use different subforms so that, for instance, Purchase Order requests and Facilities Improvement requests can easily co-exist in the same database.
When setting a workflow up you can either choose to use a customized subform in a base ProcessIt! master form or you can add the appropriate ProcessIt! subforms to your own custom form. Either way, the routing and approvals are done the same way, using the same logic and rules.
The design of ProcessIt! databases is open except for the Script Libraries which control the workflow. For our own protection, as well as protecting you from having someone change things in this important code, these Script Libraries are compiled (which is to say that their code is hidden). Everything else in the database, however, is available for your modification, as needed.
